Parking by Permit Only
Applications for Residential Parking by Permit Only is now open.
Please read the following prior to making application:
The City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 20-10 on July 21, 2020, to authorize "Parking by Permit Only" in designated Residential areas, and to provide for the issuance and renewal of Parking Decals for Permit Parking. Ordinance No. 20-10 can be accessed here.
To obtain a Decal for Permit Parking, the Applicant is required to provide the following information during application:
- Applicant Name, Address, and Phone Number
- Vehicle Information - Year, Make, Model, and vehicle color
- Copy of Drivers License
- Copy of Vehicle Registration
- Copy of a Holmes Beach Utility Bill
The cost for each Decal is $15.00.
Once an application has been made through the portal, the City will review the information received for approval of the Permit. Upon approval, the requestor will be sent an email providing information for making payment. Once payment has been received in full, the Permit Decal will be mailed.
Payment can be made by using any major credit card. A 3.5% Service Fee is required for each transaction and will be indicated as "Myfloridacounty.com" on billing statements.
If residents within a "Parking by Permit Only" zone require additional parking space access for a special event such as a birthday party, the resident shall notify the Police Department at 941-778-COPS at least 24 hours before the event to receive authorization to have guests park in the City right-of-way.
