Permit for Holding a Wedding on the Beach
The City of Holmes Beach requires a Wedding Permit / Temporary Use Permit when utilizing any portion of the beach in Holmes Beach to hold a Wedding.
Applications can be completed online, printed, then either hand-delivered, or mailed with the $75.00 payment.
To pay via credit card (a 3.5% non-refundable service fee will be charged), please contact:
Wedding Permit Applications must be received at least 30 days prior to, and no more than 365 days before the event. The review process will begin upon receipt of a completed application and payment made in full.
Beach Wedding Permit Fee per Application: $75.00 (non-refundable)
Please note the following are not allowed on the Beach:
- NO Alcohol or glass allowed
- NO Dancefloors allowed
- NO Dogs, Sky Lanterns, Balloons, Fireworks, Grills, or Generators
- NO parking in FDOT’s Right-of-Way. Note: There is free parking at the Manatee County Public Beach
